Alexandria, VA—Truland Service Corporation is proud to announce the receipt of a 2012 Craftsmanship Award from the Washington Building Congress (WBC). The Kaiser Permanente, Gaithersburg Medical Office Building project was a Craftsmanship Award winner in the Electrical Category for Power Generation, Distribution, and Switchgear. The WBC Craftsmanship Awards is the only program in the greater Washington area recognizing the outstanding skill and achievement of individual craftsmen in the construction community.
Craftsmen Charles Dotson, Bob Kaplan, Kenneth Fristoe, and Dave Maus were recognized for their outstanding work on this project. Also in attendance were Samer Kiblawi, Project Manager, Dan Link, Project Manager, James Gyuras, Director of Construction, and Dave O’Donnell, Superintendent.

The Craftsmanship Awards Banquet was held on March 23 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. The event gathered about 1,100 people representing all aspects of the building industry.
